How we use personal data

This privacy notice relates to users of the Kisumu Hub website, https://kisumu.hub.pamsteele.org.

 

We collect the personal data you provide, such as name and address, when you:

  1. make an enquiry about our services or enter into a contract with us; 

  2. RSVP an event hosted by us; or

  3. consent to receive marketing material from us. (You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at the address above).

We process the personal data according to the stated purpose. The purpose may be:

  1. to execute a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;

  2. to manage an event hosted by us to which you have accepted an invitation; or

  3. to market our services to you.

  7. not transferred outside Kenya, unless there is proof of adequate data protection safeguards.

We do not share your personal data with any third parties with one exception, Wix.com. Wix.com hosts the website,  https://kisumu.hub.pamsteele.org, and is a data processor acting on the Company's behalf. Wix.com may process your personal data outside Kenya where there are adequate data protection safeguards in place, see Wix - DPA Users.

Your rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have a right:

  1. to be informed of the use to which your personal data is to be put;

  2. to access your personal data in custody of data controller or data processor;

  3. to object to the processing of all or part of your personal data;

  4. to correction of false or misleading data; and

  5. to deletion of false or misleading data about you.
